Legacy & Glory Challenge

Unlock what was buried in the past.

Legacy & Glory is a ClanGen challenge mixed with worldbuilding and coding opportunies.

You are the Clan’s historian who has to uncover fifty long years of mysteries, challenges and conflicts. As you gradually unlock each legacy, the lives led by those of the past create a larger story of the sort of inhabitants your cats are descended from. These struggles dealt with in the past by the ancestors persist, continuing onwards with fortune or curses leaving everyone's fate in a constant state of flux. Will your Clan make it to one hundred years or will they collapse in the next six hundred moons?

Travel backwards in time as you proceed to each moon.

• Code in your deceased characters.
• Write a detailed timeline of all the events.
• Develop a story after your Clan falls.

Achievements

• Survive to one hundred years, reaching Moon 1200
• Add at least one hundred cats to your code
• Complete your entire timeline of all major events

Guide

---

1. Set up your Clan's name, starting season and founders to any cats of your choice, choosing the maximum of ten founders.
2. Apply the challenge's setting's to your Clan's save.
3. Generate the world's history to create your Clan's:
• Founding history as of Moon 0.
• Number of lives of your current leader and Warriors Den focus.
• Feeding order and prey rationing.
• Recent event as of Moon 600.
• Change the lives of your leader
• Change the Warrior's Den focus
• Change the feeding order
• Set the Clan's starting moon as Moon 600
• Turn off the feeding game mechanic (File: prey_config > Turn active deaths/events to false)
• Change your "Clan founders" to "Clanborn" backstories
4. Review the challenge clauses and select which elective clauses (if any) you want to use as addons.
5. Begin the challenge by interacting with the gameplay/rolls for Moon 600, noting down any important events.
6. Roll for your first ancestral character after completing Moon 600.
7. Repeat this process of interacting with clauses, noting important events and rolling an ancestral character until you reach Moon 1200.
